Private lessons, at your pace
Bring a first project, a course you're working through, a portfolio, or a skill you want to develop. We can work through the concepts, build something together, and make a plan for your independent study between sessions.
You don't need to know which app to choose before you start. Explore the subjects we teach, from AI and programming to animation and 3D.
Help with a problem
A stubborn bug, a confusing tool, or a production problem can stop a project. Bring the problem and what you've tried; we'll help you understand what's happening and work toward a solution.
A guide for the long run
Ongoing guidance through learning, projects, careers, and enterprise ideas — a mentor who knows your story.
We help build the map and plan the path, then help you overcome challenges along the way. That might mean choosing the next project, getting a portfolio ready, or thinking through a difficult technical decision.

Fees and learning materials
Private lessons and mentorship are paid services. Most public seminars have an entry fee. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
The initial consultation is free. Our standard rate is $100 CAD/hour for one-off support and private one-on-one meetings after that.
Custom program packages
For ongoing enrollment in our program, we offer complete packages customized around your learning goals and support needs. Contact us to discuss a package and its price.
Financial hardship and disability accommodations
We offer special pricing accommodations for students with disabilities or demonstrated financial hardship, including discounts of 80% or more in some cases. Ask us about accommodations when you get in touch.
Learning materials
Course materials are provided free of charge. We also share many learning materials, videos, and other resources at no charge. Students can request additional content created just for them, such as customized learning materials, for an additional charge. Feel free to discuss your requests with Joe. He’ll work with you to see how best he can accommodate them.
Software and other study expenses
Depending on your study plan, additional expenses may apply, such as AI or other software subscriptions. These costs are separate from teaching fees. You set up your own subscriptions; we provide advice and support.
